Faces

Today I started to experiment with laying some textures from my paintings over my face. Here are a couple I did. I have no idea where this will go yet.

¡Tigers! The second piece for "Influence" at Errata Gallery

This piece is one I actually started. It will go to Chelsea Carpenter next. My tigers look slightly off and I sort of dig that quality about them. It adds a certain charm. I am excited to see what will happen next!

Piece for "Influence" at Errata Gallery

This is a piece I am collaborating with Kendra Binney and soon Morgaine Faye. I think it is 18" x 24". So far the medium s have been watercolor, pencil and gouache. I am excited to see the final piece.

2010...

I have not posted anything here in over 3 years. 2010 seems like a good year to post some new material and freshin' up the blog.



This is a piece I recently submitted to The Love Show. It is titled, "If Looks Could Kill". There is a funny story behind this piece. I originally started it last year for The Love Show, but never finished it. It sat in my basement rejected and forgotten. I think at one point I used it as a palette. I revamped it for this years show and I think it came out great. Totally time worked on this piece, two hours!

At Alice's Place

This series was done about a week ago with about 5 of us. I'm lovin' these. They are 18"x24".
